  • What options does my degree program offer me?

Thanks to a large number of international collaborations at the University of Stuttgart, e. B. via the European ERASMUS + program, but students have the option of completing part of the modules or the bachelor thesis abroad. The faculty has cooperation agreements with 30 universities in 15 European countries (as of December 2013), which means that students can also undertake a subsidized study abroad (direct cooperation exists e.g. with the Universiteit Utrecht, Netherlands, the Unversitetet in Bergen, Norway, and the Politechnika Gdanska in Poland) . Further intensive partnerships exist, for example, with Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, in the field of energy and with the University of Waterloo in the field of water. As part of ISAC - Improving Skills Across Continents, there are collaborations with 10 Brazilian universities. Some professors also maintain contacts with universities inside and outside Europe (e.g. Curitiba, Brazil), which also provides the opportunity for exchange.

What options do I have in general?

Intercultural exchange, your subject from a different perspective, multilingualism, adventure, new friendships, travel ... you will experience all of this during a stay abroad! You are interested in a one to two semester study visit via the exchange programs, for a research stay, a language course or an internship, or you would like to take part in a summer school. The International Office will help you make your stay a reality. Your first step abroad begins with a group consultation in the International Office, for which you can register online. We look forward to your registration!
