Entry Requirement

  • Applicants must have passed high school from one of the following :
  • A 'year 12' diploma of the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) with 7 subjects OR
  • A 'year 12' diploma of the CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations) with 7 subjects OR
  • Intermediate Examination Certificate OR
  • Higher Secondary School Certificate OR
  • Indian School Certificate/All India Senior School Certificate 
  • General Requirement:
  • Minimum average grade of 45% (second class/second division) or 60% (B) and
  • Minimum grade of 45% (out of 60%) or 60% (out of 70%) for mathematics

Application Process

Level 1:

Prepare documents for application

  • LOR:
    • A letter of recommendation is not a mandatory, however, if applicant feel strongly about submitting one, he/she can upload it in the online application form
    • Not having a recommendation letter will not negatively influence the application
  • CV:
    • CV counts for 25% in the ranking, and it should give the university sufficient insight in applicant's international background and experiences

Level 2:

Additional documents required

  • Grade list from penultimate school year and - if available - last school year
  • Diploma or diploma statement (declaring the name of the diploma the student is studying for) if diploma is not yet available
  • Copy of passport
  • Result of TOEFL or IELTS
  • Answer of motivation questions
  • Please describe a time in which applicant worked with people from different backgrounds and what he learned from that experience.
  • Briefly describe a time in which they had to step out of their comfort zone and what they learned from that experience.
  • How do they plan to integrate with students from other countries? (with this question they are expected to explain what they will actually do to integrate with their prospective students)
  • What proves their sincere interest in a programme like IBA, from both an international and business perspective?
