Hungary is renowned for its universitiesand student friendly cities. Its welcoming nature towards international students, coupled with various scholarship opportunities, makes it a top priority among students. A Masters in business administration(MBA) from Hungary is a great option and is preferred by many students. Some of the Universities that provide this course are Corvinus University of Budapest, Corvinus Business School, Central European University (CEU) and University of Miskolc.
The Corvinus University of Budapest(listed in the top 50 in the Financial Times European Masters in Management rankings) is a public university that provides a full-time MBA program for which it demands a qualification of a bachelor’s degree and at least two- year work experience. IELTS and/or TOEFL certification is not required for qualification. The tuition fee is 12.000, -EUR for 4 semesters which is to be paid in 4 installments, that is, 3.000,-EUR at the beginning of each semester. International candidates are allowed to interview via Skype.
University of Miskolc is a public university (ranked 11th in the country) which provides a 4 semester long MBA program via correspondence, where the medium of teaching is English. The tuition fee is decided by the dean’s office every semester. Students are expected to be familiar with business management, communications and standards. Only candidates from the field of commerce and economics are eligible for admission.
Central European University, CEU (had its International Executive Master of Business Administration - International Master´s in Management ranked 15th by The Financial times in its worldwide survey of Executive MBAs).It is a private university that provides an MBA program costing 58,000 EUR, its full tuition fee. The medium of teaching is English- in fact English is a requirement for qualification, therefore the University suggests an IELTS certification.
