  • Bachelor's Program in Business Administration

  • The bachelor’s program in Business Administration provides students with a comprehensive education in business and economics, and also includes soft skills seminars on topics such as conflict management and time management. The program also has a unique, international focus. Students have the option of studying abroad, and attending language courses in, for example, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese and Japanese. In the fourth semester, students can specialize in two elective areas. They spend the fifth semester studying abroad, and write their bachelor's thesis in the sixth semester. The bachelor's program in Business Administration contains eight subject areas:

  • Business Administration (78 ECTS credits)
  • Methodological Basis for Economists (19 ECTS credits)
  • Economics (16 ECTS credits)
  • Civil Law and Business Law (14 ECTS credits)
  • Ethics and Rhetoric (4 ECTS credits)
  • International Studies (33 ECTS credits)
  • Elective Modules (4 ECTS credits)
  • Bachelor’s Thesis (12 ECTS credits)

    Studying abroad
    All students spend the fifth semester of the program at a university abroad (list of partner universities). Contact the International Office at the Business School for further information.

    Internships
    According to the examination regulations, students don’t have to do an internship during their studies. However, we recommend that you complete an internship in a relevant sector before you graduate.

Application Process


  • University of Mannheim invites admission applications in the Fall and Spring Semesters. Applications for Bachelor programs are invited in the Fall semester only. With the student enrollment of around 12, 054 students out of which 3,759 are undergraduate students, it has an international student body of 18.6% higher than the national average.

    The university offers more than 60 undergraduate and graduate programs in the fields of Business, Social Science, Economics, Humanities, Law and Business Information.

    Applicants must demonstrate German Language Proficiency as except 8 Master’s Programs all programs(Bachelor’s and Master’s) have Medium of Instruction as German.

  • Aptitude Test is required by undergraduate students.
  • The University of Mannheim does not charge an application fee.
  • Applicants have to apply through the University Portal. It does not collaborate with uni-assist.
  • GMAT/GRE Score is required for certain Master’s Programs. Master in Data Science requires 500 on GMAT
