  • The area of ​​responsibility of chemistry is the research of substances, in biochemistry the substances of living nature are the focus of interest. Structures and transformations are examined with the help of qualitative and quantitative analyzes. The knowledge gained in this way offers the possibility of producing new substances in a targeted manner.

Application Process

  • For some courses there are separate selection criteria that are checked in an aptitude test. The legal designations of these aptitude tests are different: for most of the bachelor's and teacher training courses concerned there are "aptitude test procedures", for most of the master s courses concerned "aptitude tests". They all have in common:

    The aptitude test is carried out by the respective institution (institute, department, faculty) where the course is located!

    The format, content and deadlines of such proficiency tests differ considerably. It is not always an "examination" in the sense of a personal written or oral examination at the university - in some cases the submitted written documents are simply evaluated.

    The passing of the aptitude test must be proven when enrolling (or changing course) in the relevant course by sending a written notification.
