  • Graduate Certificate in Project Management – Environmental

  • This eight-month graduate certificate program prepares you for careers in project development and management in both environmental and civil engineering industries. Your studies will encompass all aspects of project management, from the competitive bid process to scheduling, risk management and the closing of projects. During the second semester, you will gain valuable industry experience under the guidance of a mentor.

    Laptop Requirement

    It is strongly recommended that you have a laptop before the first day of this program. It should include the following technical specifications:

  • Windows 10 Operating System
  • Intel i7 or equivalent processor
  • 16 GB of RAM (32 GB of RAM is recommended)
  • 256 GB Solid State Hard Drive (SSD) (512 GB SSD is recommended)
  • High-end graphics video card (consider a dedicated video card with at least 2 GB of video memory)
  • 13 inch or larger screen
  • Three USB 3.0 ports
  • Wireless 802.11ac

Entry Requirement

  • Applicants must hold a recognized degree from an accredited institution in Environmental Studies, Planning, General Science, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences or Life Sciences; OR
  • A 3-year advanced postsecondary diploma in Environmental Technology or Engineering Technology from a recognized college/university or equivalent with work experience
  • Prospective students are required to be highly literate and have superior communication and analytical skills and may be required to undergo testing to assess these skills
  • Applicant must have a bachelor degree.

      • Graduate Certificate in Applied Electronics Design if an applicant provides an equivalent combination of partial post-secondary 
      • Graduate Certificate in Game Art and Animation if an applicant provides a partial postsecondary education degree
  • ESSAY:
    • A written English essay for applicants enrolling in Graduate Certificate in Database Application Developer is required
  • CV:
    • Resume is required for:
      • Advanced Diploma in Animation, focusing on any professional or volunteer positions that demonstrate creative or artistic talents
      • Graduate Certificate in Database Application Developer
      • Graduate Certificate in Energy Management - Built Environment
      • Graduate Certificate in Project Management - Environmental
      • Graduate Certificate in Project Management - Information Technology with a recognized degree or postsecondary diploma from an accredited institution in Business or Liberal Arts
      • Graduate Certificate in Applied Electronics Design if an applicant provides an equivalent combination of partial post-secondary 
      • Graduate Certificate in Game Art and Animation if an applicant provides a partial postsecondary education degree
