How to Apply:

Students can directly apply to the University website or there is a centralised website www.uni-assist.de to apply for the Universities in Germany, it is a website of German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German exchange studies organisation. Keep in mind that not all the Universities use that. You can apply to a number of Universities to increase chances of your admission. Normally, you should apply six weeks before the start of the program to give yourself enough time for processing and re-submissions. You will receive your letter of acceptance after the assessment of the application.

Educational and Linguistic Proficiencies:

You should also check whether the certification, diploma, degree or qualification that you have is sufficient for your study in Germany because sometimes their requirements are different. Usually high school diplomas are enough, and in case you have questions, you can always check the exchange service database. Germans also require a language proficiency test. Finances:

First and foremost is the finance. You need about a 1000 USD for living expenses per month. Even though tuition fees are almost non-existent, living costs can soar, which is why you need the amount.
