Entry Requirement

  • The applicant's overall undergraduate GPA should be at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • The student’s GPA for upper-division accounting courses should be at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Subjects required: Intermediate Accounting, Cost Accounting, Tax, Audit)  
  • If the student’s undergraduate GPA is below the 3.0 standards, conditional admission to the program may be allowed under the following conditions:
    • The student has significant post-graduation work experience OR
    • The student takes the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) with an expectation that the student earn a score of at least 550

  • SOP:
    • A Statement of Purpose is required for certificate and degree programs
    • State the reasons for pursuing graduate study, specifying special interests within chosen discipline and including background preparation in that area
    • Mention any relevant skills or experience that are acquired
  • LOR:Two letters of recommendation are required
