  • Master of Science Business Administration

  • The Master of Science in Business Administration is a research and method-oriented degree program offering a comprehensive range of electives in the field of business administration and its sub-disciplines. In addition to in-depth knowledge of general business administration, the program provides students with further analytical and methodological skills, and imparts insight into at least two of six sub-areas, including corporate management, marketing, and media. As business decisions usually involve not only economic but judicial, social, and political issues, the master's program in business administration also reflects the interdisciplinary nature of the field.

  • Program structure

    Students study four subjects during the two-year master’s degree program:

  • General Business Administration and Methods: This part of the program imparts a broad range of methods, statistical, and analytical knowledge (required elective).
  • Two of six areas of specialization (required electives):
    • Corporate Management
    • Marketing and Media
    • Operations and Supply Chain Management
    • Finance and Insurance
    • Auditing and Tax
    • Health Care Management
  • Elective area
  • The program concludes with a master’s thesis in one of the two specializations or general business administration and methods.

  • Career prospects

    Graduates of this degree program are able to work in mid and upper-level management or in corporate consulting as well as in research in the higher education sector.
