  • The Master of Science degree program in Mechanical Engineering – Mechanical and Process Engineering is designed to deepen and broaden the knowledge and skills in conception, simulation and construction of technical facilities. Besides the classical forms of lectures and tutorials, the Master’s degree program consists of practical ways to learn about scientific methods, including practically-oriented tutorials in mechanical engineering, the industry-related Advanced Design Project, or the the 12-week internship. The special Darmstadt Profile in Mechanical Engineering, which does not mandate that students choose an area of specialization. Together with the many and diversified options for course choices, this creates a programme closely in line with each student’s individual preferences. During the programme, it is possible to spend an entire semester at a partner universitiy abroad. For this reason it is advisable for each student to consult with the departmental advisor before beginning the program in order to construct a specific and personalized course schedule.

Entry Requirement

  • Student must have bachelor of science degree in the same field of study or equivalent

  • Student must submit academic degree in the original language and a certified translation, transcript of records forn each semester in the original language, certified translation and a language certificate and german language proficiency scores

  • Applicant must have bachelor degree.

    Requirements for admission to the Master’s Degree programme consist of a Bachelor of Science degree in the same field or an equivalent degree. Admission to the Master’s Degree programme may also depend on additional requirements.
