The University of Saskatchewan is established on March 19, 1907. It is a public research based university, located near the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is one of the oldest university. It is among those few universities that hold multiple Canada Excellence Research Chairs. 

The University of Saskatchewan has become a popular research-based university in the past years. The university receives a sum of around $243million from its sponsors to carry out researches. This acts as the main feature of the university since it allows it, students, to conduct researches and has enough money to provide them help and assistance in their work. 

The admission at the University of Saskatchewan is offered in the three intakes of fall, winter and spring. It offers a wide range of programs and courses. For example, Arts and Science, Agriculture and Bioresources, Biotechnology, Edwards School of Business, Education, Dentistry, Engineering, Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, Law, Kinesiology, Nursing, clinical psychology, Pharmacy, Medicine, and Nutrition Veterinary Medicine and  Physiotherapy.

There are more than 25000 students that have come from over 130 countries of the world. An international student can easily find a group of people with common interests. The University of Saskatchewan has 13 colleges, 6 affiliated colleges, and three graduate schools under it. It also offers multiple scholarships, around $13 million are provided for scholarships, bursaries, and awards. It has 1:19 faculty-to-student ratio.

There are more than 100 student clubs, seven on-campus museums and art galleries, and a state-of-the-art Physical Activity Complex at the university. New international students are given a special welcome and are provided with orientation service which includes free transportation from the airport and first-night accommodation. The campus is also popular for its location filled with green space, buildings, and walkways, which makes a wonderful place to get a memorable lifetime experience.
