  • Emily Carr University and Centre for Digital Media provides The MDM Program which is a 12 month, plus internship, full time professional Master's degree program.
  • It is Canada's first professional graduate program in digital media. This intensive program with internship engages students in real world projects and coursework that provides valuable leadership experience, training, and top industry connections.

Entry Requirement

  • Applicants must have bachelor degree.

Application Process

 

  • The institute opens applications for Fall and Spring sessions.
  • Applicants may upload the supporting documents while making the online application on their official website.
  • All the applicants must deposit a nonrefundable fee of 70 CAD when applying for admissions at the institute.
  • Every year, the majority of students at the institute are provided with a financial aid package in the form of loans and scholarships.
  • Transcripts must be sent in a sealed envelope or must be electronically mailed for all educational institutions attended.
  • The requirements for International and Canadian applicants are almost the same. However, international applicants have to submit the English proficiency test scores to be eligible for admission.
  • The applicants have to submit a portfolio via slide room.
  • Graduate applicants have to submit their transcripts and English proficiency test scores by January 15.
  • The applicant can apply to only one graduate program at a time at the institute.

  • International applicants must satisfy the following requirements in order to be eligible for Emily Carr University of Arts and Design admissions:

  • A completed formal application with all the required details.
  • Proof of graduation from grade 12 secondary school with five grade 12 subjects.
  • All official academic transcripts, certificates, or grade records from the institution that you received your secondary education.
  • Minimum IELTS, TOEFL scores for proof of English proficiency.
  • Applicants are required to send their portfolio online through SlideRoom.

  • Additional Requirements: Letters of recommendation and statement of purpose
