Affiliated to the Laurentian University in Sudbury, Algoma University is a public institution established with a mission to give cross-cultural learning between Aboriginal & other communities in Northern Ontario. Currently, it has over 1500 students enrolled.
Programs offered by the Algoma University include more than 30 undergraduate majors and graduate certificates offered through three Faculties i.e Faculty of Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities. It does not offer any graduate degree programs.
Algoma University has affiliations with AUCC and CBIE. The campus is flourished by international students from over 30 different countries, who make up to 27% of its student body.
