This bachelor programme Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (MIRT HBO applied science) is a four year (full time study) programme. In these four years you will use medical equipment to prepare, execute and process visual imaging research and treatment. You will be trained to be the professional link between technology, safety and patient care. During the training you will learn how the human body functions, which examination you can perform when presented with a clinical case, which equipment you should use for diagnoses or treatment, and how these devices work. We will teach you the effects of radiation and radioactivity on the human body and how you can protect yourself and your patient against these effects.
