Entry Requirement

  • Applicants must have passed Standard XII/Class XII from CBSE, CISC  with 65% marks
  • Required subjects: English, Mathematics, a laboratory science subject (i.e. Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Physics with Chemistry (joint) or Agricultural Science) or Technology, and any two other subjects recognised for entry purposes

  • LOR: Two Letters of Recommendation (in a sealed envelope), ideally from a teacher and/guidance counsellor or someone who knows you personally

  • Official qualifications and exam results (transcripts)
  • A Personal Statement (typed) of no more than 800 words outlining academic interests, sporting and/or cultural interests, reasons for choosing NUI Galway and aspects of academic career 
  • Copy of birth certificate or passport
  • English Language Proficiency Scores
