  • The program is a consecutive program that is built on the bachelor media computer science
  • The program deals with the increasingly digital information processing in the media and the resulting convergence of modern concepts of computer science, digital communication technologies and multimedia
  • Students will not only learn to use existing media editing software but also they will understand the principles behind it and the ability to develop multimedia software themselves 
  • Training is more application-oriented and less theory taught
  • The highly specialized and interdisciplinary Master's degree program "Media, Management and Digital Technologies" (MMT) was created in order to train both future leaders and founders in the (digital) media industry that show a high level of expertise in the intersection between media, management and digital technologies. The main goal is to attract highly talented and ambitious students from all over Europe and other parts of the world with a background in business, informatics respectively computer science or other integrated programs. The MMT Master's program is jointly offered by the LMU Munich School of Management and the Institute for Informatics. The program is completely funded by the initiative "Digitaler Campus Bayern".

  • Applicant must have a bachelor degree.

Application Process

  • Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with a grade of 2.3 or better according to the German grading System, either in business administration or a related field with a minor in informatics or in informatics or a related field with a minor in business administration. Furtheron they must have a good command of the English Language (C1 Level). More on the MMT program Website:
  • Student must have completed a first professional qualifying university degree or an equivalent in the field of media computer science, computer science or a related subject
