  • A multitude of political, social and cultural forces drive economic decisions in our globalized world. To understand these forces, students need to learn about the many challenges faced by today’s firms and economies. These include resource scarcity, climate change, economic growth, financial crises, or inequalities. The program Global Economics and Management views the classical studies of business administration and economics within a global context and combines them with knowledge from political science, sociology and management. Students gain a transdisciplinary understanding of global economic challenges with an emphasis on sustainable development and responsible leadership.

    The Bachelor program Global Economics and Management has received excellent ranking results in the most recent university ranking conducted by the Center for Higher Education (CHE).

  • The Global Economics and Management (GEM) program provides students with essential knowledge and skills in business and economics
  • Students will gain the skills to reason in economics and management in their theoretical, empirical, societal and political dimensions
  • The program addresses global economic challenges such as financial and economic crises, environmental devastation, poverty, and inequality
  • Students gain a transdisciplinary understanding of global economic challenges with an emphasis on sustainable development and responsible leadership
  • The Global Economics and Management program lets students choose a specialization or a minor in diverse fields such as international relations (international political economy), integrated social sciences, psychology etc.

Entry Requirement

  • ELP requirement can be waived if applicants have instructed exclusively in English for a minimum of 6 year
  • Applicants must have passed high school with good grades.

Application Process

Level 1

Prepare documents for application

LOR:

  • One recommendation letter is required
  • This should ideally come from a school official like a school counselor or principal

Level 2

Additional documents required

  • School or University transcripts of the last 2-3 years. There are two options to submit transcripts.
  • Either school official uploads the transcripts through the Common App, Or
  • Student send their certified copies of the transcripts to the university by post
  • Educational History Form where you will list all the schools that you have attended up to your current school
  • SAT/ACT scores
  • English language proficiency test scores
