  • The master's program is the focus building construction and urban planning , a determination is made ??only in the 3rd semester through individual choice of topic
  • The Master of Science in Architecture is designed to deepen and broaden the knowledge and skills regarding the planning, design, visualisation and construction of buildings. The Master’s programme is characterised by the integration and in-depth study of the two subject areas Structural Design and Urban Planning (as per the “Darmstadt Model”). Plans and models from design projects will be presented by their designers and then discussed during the colloquium. A 12-week internship is part of the programme.

Entry Requirement

  • Student must have completed bachelor of science degree in the same field of study or equivalent
  • Student should also provide with a portfolio, containing the bachelor's thesis and additional work samples from the bachelor's degree programme

  • Student must submit academic degree in the original language and a certified translation, transcript of records forn each semester in the original language, certified translation and a language certificate and german language proficiency scores

  • Applicant must have a bachelor degree.

Application Process

  • Applying with international qualifications (language requirements, application deadlines): International Admission.
    Requirements for admission to the Master’s degree programme are comprised of a Bachelor of Science degree in the same programme or an equivalent degree. This can also be a bachelor of art's degree in architecure and can also be acquired at a “Fachhochschule” (University of Applied Sciences) in Germany or abroad. Should the bachelor's degree not come from a German university or Fachhochschule, applicants have to submit proof (certificates) of German language proficiency.
    Admission also requires to hand in a portfolio, containing the Bachelor's Thesis and additional work samples from the Bachelor's degree programme. Specific degree entrance requirements may be found here and in the competences description.
