In their first semester, students of this degree programme complete a foun- dation stage; this is followed in the second semester by specialist study of Controlling (Managerial Accounting) or Financial Accounting. The third semester is usually dedicated to the final examination in the form of a written Master’s thesis and an oral examination.
Students who have gained less than 210 ECTS in their first degree must acquire the missing credits by completing an internship. Those students who have gained 210 ECTS in their first degree may complete a voluntary internship.
