Course of study

  • After successfully completing the programme, graduates have economic, technical and managerial skills that are necessary for working in management positions. The programme is designed to train graduates in problem-solving skills in multidisciplinary contexts, and to be able to carry out application-oriented projects. 
  • After finishing basic studies, students acquire knowledge in either Advanced Manufacturing or Energy Engineering. In the applied studies, the programme offers case studies with an international and industry-specific approach. The programme is completed after passing all common modules, the modules of the chosen two technology areas, the chosen foreign language, and the successful completion of the Bachelor's thesis and colloquium. 
  • In order to take into account its international scope, the programme contains elective modules in business-oriented foreign language studies in either German for non-German speakers, or Russian or Chinese (Mandarin) for German speakers (only one language has to be chosen).

The ˮBusiness Management and Engineering" Bachelor's programme is a consecutive course offered in English language. In addition, for non-German citizens, German language is a compulsive part of the studies and for German speakers either Russian or Chinese language can be chosen. Business engineers have very good career opportunities in production companies, software and internet firms as well as in the logistics sector.
