  • Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Human Resource Management

  • Become a specialist in employee relations, managing employee planning, recruitment, compensation, training and development, health and safety, and evaluation. Also learn to take the lead in union contract negotiations, grievance handling, including mediation and arbitration, and all other employee-related legal matters such as wrongful dismal, or personal harassment
  • This program is suitable for those students who have a non business degree and want to acquire a specialty in a functional area of business
  • Students with a first degree in business, but who want to change their area of focus, may complete a post-baccalaureate diploma as well
  • Post-baccalaureate diplomas are also valuable to international students who wish to come to Canada to learn English, gain exposure to the culture, and study in a compressed format

Entry Requirement

  • Applicant must be high school passed.

Application Process

  • Grade 12 or mature student status
  • Foundations Mathematics 12 or Pre-calculus 12 with minimum C+ (or equivalent)
  • English Studies 12/English First Peoples 12 with a minimum of 73% (or equivalent)
  •  If you don’t meet the requirements

    High school graduates can apply and be admitted to this program while upgrading at TRU.

    Mature students without a high school diploma (or equivalent) can work towards completing their BC High School Graduation Diploma while in this program through TRU courses.

    Students who do not qualify for mature student status can apply for the TRU University Preparation program to complete their BC High School Graduation Diploma.
