The General Education Diploma is appropriate for students who prefer a diverse selection of courses and do not necessarily plan to undertake university study.
Students will gain knowledge in multiple areas of study. Holistically, the program aims to develop critical thinking abilities, strengthen research skills, and introduce a variety of theories.
In many job opportunities, post-secondary experience is essential. The two-year Diploma provides students with a foundation of knowledge that will help in broad range of fields.
The Diploma in General Education is appropriate for students who prefer a diverse selection of courses and do not necessarily plan to undertake university study. Students may select the basic requirements of a minimum of 60 credits from any of the Langara College offerings that are eligible to be used for a Langara College credential. Students must choose a minimum of 6 credit hours from the offerings of the English Departmen
International applicants are not eligible for admission to the Diploma in General Education.
