  • Faculty members have recourse to a very wide range of teaching methods which they implement according to the nature and objectives of the courses. With regard to the transmission of knowledge as such, these strategies may involve lectures, semi-lectures and the holding of workshops, all combined with a wide variety of assessment methods (continuous assessment of knowledge, brief assignments, semester assignments, group projects, oral presentations, tabletop exams, in-house exams) and to sustained reading requirements. The possibility of doing an internship in the workplace also offers a rewarding experience for students.

Application Process

The University of Moncton (Universite` de Moncton) is the largest French learning university in Canada. It has given over 53,000 degrees to students so far. The University offers 165 study programs with over 40 graduate and doctoral programs.

Registration for courses at the University of Moncton begins in April for the Fall session and in mid-November for the winter session. Applicants must send the official transcripts by post on the campus mailing address.

  • Currently amidst COVID-19, the University of Moncton is accepting applications from Canadian students.
  • International applicants can apply for admission for the winter or fall 2021 sessions.
  • The university charges no application fees from Canadian students, however, it charges file study fees of 60 CAD that gets added to the university fees.
  • International applicants must submit a non-refundable file study fee of 160 CAD at the time of registration, out of which 100 CAD will get added to the university fees.
  • The University follows a semester-based academic calendar inviting applications for Winter, Spring/Summer, and Fall.
  • Financial Aids are available for both Canadian and International students
  • International students must have a study permit or temporary resident visa to study in Canada.
  • Applicants receive an email of confirmation within two to three weeks of application submission.
