The St. Francis Xavier scholarship is a full tuition, four-year scholarship. It is awarded annually to 10 incoming first-year students with exceptional academic achievement and outstanding leadership involvement in their community and/or school.
The Chancellor Scholarship is a four-year scholarship named in honor of Xavier's past President and first Chancellor of the University, Father James E. Hoff, S.J. It is awarded annually to 15 incoming first-year students with excellent academic achievement. For Fall 2014, the Chancellor Scholarship was valued at $22,000 per year.
Typical recipients of the St. Francis Xavier and Chancellor scholarships rank in the top 5 percent of their high school class with a GPA of at least a 3.75 and have a minimum SAT of 1360 (ACT of 31). Selected students will be interviewed on campus in the spring of the student's senior year.
The St. Francis Xavier and Chancellor scholarships are tuition restricted and supersede any other scholarship/award offers.
