Davis United World College Scholars

The Davis United World College Scholars Program, founded in 2000 by Shelby M.C. Davis and Philip O. Geier, is the world's largest privately funded international scholarship program. It now supports over 2,500 undergraduates (from 148 nations) at 90 U.S. colleges and universities.

Davis UWC Scholars are all graduates of United World Colleges, a group of 15 high schools across the globe that bring students of different nationalities together for studies emphasizing intercultural knowledge and awareness.

We currently have 98 Davis UWC Scholars from 65 different countries here at Middlebury. They are part of a student body that is over 10 percent international, and they help create a global campus climate.
