| Additional Application Requirements: | Due to limited funds, the University can offer awards only to the top applicants whose admissions materials are received on time. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that all required documents are on file at the University by the December 1 priority application date. Any remaining Merit Scholarship funds will be awarded to applicants who have completed the admissions process between Dec. 2 and Feb. 1. |
| Award: | Annual Award: Full nonresident tuition (fees not included) up to and including 18 hours per semester awarded for a maximum of 8 semesters or until the student receives a baccalaureate degree, whichever comes first. |
| Terms: | Renewable - Up to 8 semesters. Full time enrollment (minimum of 12 hours) is required for disbursement of any tuition waiver or scholarship award. Recipient must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.6 and complete 24 hours of course work (20 of which must be graded) every two semesters. Grades are reviewed after the second, fourth, and sixth semester. |

| Other Requirements: | Merit scholarship consideration will be based on the ACT/SAT test score with which students are admitted. Results from tests taken after the official October test date, initial or retakes, will not be taken into consideration for scholarship eligibility. |
