Nomination:
A complete nomination includes two letters of reference, a resume, and a signed nomination form. The resume should be provided by the nominee. At least one letter of reference must come from a Faculty member of the Department, College or School and include:
Purpose of the Fund
To provide a scholarship for a returning undergraduate student at Dalhousie registered in the Faculty of Architecture, Arts & Social Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, Health Professions, Management or Science.
Eligibility
a) Candidates must have attended Dalhousie for at least one year prior to applying, completed a full course load for two terms (min. 30 credit hours) during the previous year and be currently registered in a full course load (15 credit hours) during the term of application.
b) The candidate must hold a minimum 3.30 cumulative Grade Point Average.
c) In addition to academic achievement, the candidate will have demonstrated excellence in qualities of leadership, citizenship and/or sportsmanship.
d) Nominees are not required to be a familial relation to a Dalhousie alumnus.
Award Value:
The number and value of awards vary each year. The anticipated award values for the 2007/08 academic year will be two awards of $3,000 each.
