Renewable and In-Course Scholarships

Renewable Scholarships: Students currently attending Dalhousie and who were offered a renewable scholarship upon admission are automatically assessed for renewal of their scholarship.

In-Course Scholarships: range in value from $500 - $3,000. You'll be notified of an in-course scholarship by Dalhousie email in June/July. Mature and Transfer students are considered for in-course scholarships following one year of study at Dalhousie.

For renewable and in-course scholarships, you must complete at least 30 credit hours of for-credit coursework over two academic terms in the previous academic year (excluding transfer credits) and achieve a minimum GPA of 3.70 over the two terms being assessed.

Renewal and In-Course Scholarship Requirements for Co-op Students:

One work term during the previous academic year: You must complete 30 credit hours over two terms (fall, winter or summer) and achieve a minimum SGPA of 3.70.

Two work terms during the previous academic year: You must complete a minimum of 15 credit hours during one academic term and achieve a minimum term GPA of 3.70.

If you've taken more than the required credit hours, assessment is based on all courses taken within the two terms.
