Criteria: The main objective of the entrance award is to encourage Francophone and Francophile graduates of Ontario's French and French immersion secondary schools. Adults returning to school to study in a program supported by the CNFS are also eligible for the scholarship. Application merit will be based not only on the average grade achieved during the last year of study, but also on the candidate's involvement (preferably in French) in health-related activities in his or her community or workplace. To be accepted, the application must include the following five components: complete application form; letter of support written by a professor from the last educational institution attended; high school course transcripts or, for mature students, a transcript from the last institution attended; letter of presentation of approx. 400 words written in French, describing the candidate's contributions or commitment to the Franco-Ontarian community.
