Greenwood-Tomkys Fund Masters of Midwifery Scholarship

Description: 

  • The Greenwood-Tomkys Fund has been established through the Estate of the late Betty Greenwood and in conjunction with her sister Valery Tomkys. The principal purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships, bursaries and other educational assistance for students of nursing and other allied health professions and disciplines. Assistance is provided to students in financial need to undertake their studies, particularly outside the metropolitan areas..

Annual Comment: 

  • The scholarship is valued at $5,000 for 1 year. Payments of $2,500 are made each semester and the second instalment will be subject to satisfactory progress.

Eligibility:  

  • Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be commencing or continuing their studies in a Master of Midwifery in Semester 1; be enrolled in up to 4 study units in Semester 1 and Semester 2; and be studying externally.
