Presidential Leadership Scholarship

Duration: Four year, renewable award

• The Presidential Scholarship is the University of Montana's premier freshman scholarship. Presidential Scholars are chosen solely on academic merit and scholarships are renewable for a total of four years. Between 12 and 15 PLS awards made each year to incoming freshman. The approximate value each year, including the tuition waiver, is $11,900 for the Gold Level and $9,400 for the Silver Level.

Eligibility

• PLS Minimum Requirements:
• Have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
• ACT composite score of 27 or SAT composite score of 1800

Application Procedure

• Applications are available through the Davidson Honors College.
• If a PLS application is submitted, consideration will also be given for the entering Freshman Scholarship; no additional application needs to be submitted.
