Awarded in the fall semester to incoming freshmen and incoming international freshmen who have outstanding academic records; have overcome economic or educational hardship and demonstrated a commitment to diversity and serving or working with socio-economically or educationally underserved communities. This scholarship ranges from actively participating $6,500 to $8,500 and is renewable contingent upon maintaining a 3.0 GPA and in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Association. All recipients must address issues of equality and social justice through servant leadership and scholarship. The completed application form and your application for admission must be received by the scholarship deadline.
