INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER ACADEMIC AWARD

• The WSU International Transfer Academic Award is a tuition reduction that is available to non-immigrant visa, non-resident, degree seeking undergraduate transfer students who do not currently have a bachelor degree and are offered admission to WSU. The WSU Academic Scholarship Application is not required since the award will be offered automatically, based on the cumulative GPA from the transferring institution(s), as determined using WSU's GPA policies. Awards are distributed during both Fall and Spring semesters. Funds are limited, therefore students who are admitted later in the season are not guaranteed this award.
• $4,000 per academic year tuition waiver - offered to transfer students with a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.6 or higher (on 4.0 scale). The award is renewable for five additional semesters of undergraduate study if 3.2 cumulative GPA is maintained while attending classes on a WSU campus, full-time student status is maintained, and 24 credits per year (12 credits per semester) are successfully completed. (Total possible award is $2,000 x 6 semesters = $12,000).
• $2,000 per academic year tuition waiver offered to transfer students with a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.3 to 3.59 (on 4.0 scale). The award is renewable for five additional semesters of undergraduate study if 3.2 cumulative GPA is maintained while attending classes on a WSU campus, full-time student status is maintained, and 24 credits per year (12 credits per semester) are successfully completed. (Total possible award is $1,000 x 6 semesters = $6,000).
