Dare To Dream Scholarship

The Dare to Dream Scholarship is awarded to one new Diploma student with special needs, who has demonstrated good performance, track record, and/or relevant experience in his or her chosen field of study.

Eligibility:

• Applicant must be Singaporean.
• Applicant must have been offered a place in a full-­time Diploma program for the August 2014 intake.
• Applicant must be medically certified about his/her special needs.
• Non-­recipient of any other scholarships or bursaries/financial aid awarded by external organizations.

Assessment Criteria:

• Good academic record with portfolio/audition/interviews or other criteria as may be laid down from time-to-time.
• Good performance, performance track record and/or relevant experience in their chosen field.
• Ability to demonstrate engagement in chosen discipline with activities outside of coursework, such as participation and/or achievements in external performances.
• High level of maturity and strong leadership qualities.

Value & Tenure:

S$5,400 per academic year for a maximum of three (3) years or the minimum duration required to complete the Diploma course, whichever is shorter.
