Special awards and bursaries are funded by donors who wish to support a particular area of interest or research. Students must demonstrate financial need to be eligible for bursaries.

Eligibility:

  • Terms of reference for individual awards within the Special Awards and Bursaries category can be found on the Graduate Award Database.

Application:

  • Special Awards and Bursaries are administered through the Graduate Award Competition.

Deadline:

  • February 1 to your Graduate Program Administrator, unless your program has an earlier deadline. Confirm your program's deadline as late applications will not be accepted.
