Process: Recipient selected by the Coordinator of the EAP program.
Description: awarded to a student who has shown the most improvement in EAP.
Background: The PEI Equity Alliance Co. Ltd. assists immigrants in obtaining their permanent residence status by supporting them in submitting and completing immigration files to the PEI Department of Development and Technology, Immigration Section. It also assist immigrants to settle in PEI once they receive permanent residence. In support of students who are learning the English language, in preparation for post-secondary studies, the PEI Equity Alliance Co. donated $10,000 to the UPEI English Academic Preparation program and the money will be used to support student awards.
