India-Canada Association of Sudbury Scholarship

Criteria: Awarded annually to a first-year student enrolled full-time in any program at Laurentian University. The student must have achieved a minimum of 80% in his/her 6 best 4U/M courses, or the equivalent, and must demonstrate that she/he has made a significant contribution to the community. Preference is given to dependents of members of the India-Canada Association of Sudbury, or of any other East Indian cultural and heritage organization maintaining similar objectives. Candidates must also be recommended by a secondary school guidance counsellor
