Conditions:
The Dr. S.M. Guma Fellowship Competition is open to UNB graduate students who are citizens of Swaziland, Botswana, Lesotho, or South Africa, or a resident of Namibia. The award is valued at up to $1500, and may be renewed once. There is no restriction with respect to the discipline applicants are studying.
Please Include the Following:
(1) A description of research, which should include an outline of why you qualify for
the Dr. S.M. Guma Fellowship in terms of nationality, and an outline of what you intend
to do as well as what has already been completed (this should not exceed one page).
(2) A letter of reference from your supervisor or the Director of Graduate Studies for your
department.
(3) Unofficial transcripts (i.e. printed from your eservices).
Applications must be submitted to the School of Graduate Studies by the deadline specified.
