Woodside Myanmar Postgraduate Scholarship

• Applications are invited for postgraduate scholarship available to the students of Myanmar for studying Master of Public Health (Coursework) degree course at University of Western Australia. Applicants must be enrolled or intending to enroll full-time in the Master of Public Health (Coursework) degree course at the University. One scholarship will be available for maximum of four semesters, which are normally consecutive. Applicants will be selected on the basis of academic achievement. Applications must be submitted by 30th October 2018.

Eligibility:

To be eligible to apply for and take up a scholarship, an applicant must:

• be a citizen of Myanmar;
• be residing in Myanmar at the time of application;
• not be the subject of sanctions under the Autonomous Sanctions Act 2011 (Cth) and its Regulations1 and must not be related to a person or entity on the list of Specially Designated Nationals promulgated by the US Department of the Treasury2; and
• be enrolled or intending to enroll full-time in the Master of Public Health (Coursework) degree course at the University.
• An awardee must commence their course in the semester for which the scholarship is awarded.
