Description:

• The scholarship is open to high-achieving IB graduates, and aims to demonstrate Deakin's commitment to continuing education and the awarding of scholarships for academic excellence.

Annual Comment: 

• The scholarship is valued at $5,000 per year as either a cash payment or student contribution payments. In addition, academic mentor support is available for the recipient.

Eligibility: 

• Applicants must: be Australian citizens or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa; be commencing students enrolled full-time in an undergraduate course of study at Deakin University in a Commonwealth Supported Place; and have completed an IB diploma in the year prior to enrolment at Deakin. Selection is based on academic merit, according to IB diploma score.
