Chancellor's Scholarship

USQ will offer three Chancellor's Scholarships for students commencing full-time on-campus study at USQ in 2015. One scholarship will be awarded to the most outstanding applicant from each of the Toowoomba, Fraser Coast and Springfield campuses.

Eligibility
To be eligible applicants must:

  • be an Australian Citizen or have permanent resident status
  • have completed Year 12 in 2017
  • commence their studies in a Bachelor degree in Semester 1 2018
  • be enrolled in a minimum of 3 study units in each of Semester 1 and Semester 2 of each year of study 
  • be studying on-campus, external or online 
  • meet the pre-requisite requirements of your desired USQ program. This includes any audition or other requirements.

Selection criteria

  • Applicants will submit the following two documents in addition to the school report card from Semester 1 2017.
  • Academic resume (two page maximum) outlining outstanding academic achievements for years 11 and 12.
  • List your academic achievements and the academic extra-curricular activities you have been involved in during Years 11 and 12 in the form of an academic resume (eg. subject awards, science and maths team challenges, debating teams, music achievements).
  • A personal statement (one page maximum) outlining a description of your educational aims and goals. Use the following headings:
  • How this scholarship will assist your future aspirations and career goals.
  • Why you chose USQ.
