The Brett Fritsch Memorial Occupational Health and Safety Grant has been established by Charmaine Ferraro in memory of her son, Brett Fritsch, who tragically lost his life in an industrial accident in 2010.

Eligibility:
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety Management (IGOY) or the Master of Occupational Health and Safety (IMOY); and complete a brief written statement (maximum 500 words) outlining their career goals and future plans and how the grant will help them achieve their ambitions. The statement should also outline their occupational health and safety philosophy and the nature of any thesis/project to be undertaken. Applicants will be assessed on the basis of a personal written statement and academic merit (Grade Point Average). Preference will be given to applicants who reside in South Australia, are employed in the construction sector and demonstrate a real passion and commitment to the field of occupational health and safety.
