Applicants must have to submit SAT academic and two SAT Subject Tests

One recommendation from your guidance counselor and two recommendations from teachers who have taught you in major academic courses (English, mathematics, social studies, sciences, foreign languages), preferably within the last two years of secondary school
If applicants are applying to the Pratt School of Engineering, at least one recommendation should be from a math or science teacher
Applicants must have to submit one-page personal (Long) essay in 650 words, questions are available on the website
In addition to the above long essay, applicants also have to submit two short essays, where one is optional
If students are applying to the Trinity College of Arts & Sciences as either a first-year or transfer applicant, please discuss why you consider Duke a good match for you. Is there something particular about Duke that attracts you? (150 words maximum)
If students are applying to the Pratt School of Engineering as either a first-year or transfer applicant, please discuss why you want to study engineering and why you would like to study at Duke. (150 words maximum)
