On this course students will learn to analyse and measure real economic issues based on a knowledge of economic theory, develop an understanding of how economic policy is formulated and gain the analytical and critical evaluation skills to recognise how national and global issues affect the performance of a business.
Students will study a range of areas, including Applied Techniques for Economists, Econometrics, Intermediate Micro and Macroeconomics, Economic History and International Trade.
DMU's Bloomberg Trading Room – one of the largest in a UK university – will give students a simulated experience on industry-standard software used by decision-makers in finance.
