Prepare documents for application

  • SOP:
    • A letter of motivation (also called a "statement of purpose" or "personal essay") is a brief essay in which the student can explain what they hope to achieve, as well as what qualifies them as a top candidate for the admission, why the student has selected that specific program, why chosen Politecnico di Milano among other universities
  • LOR:
    • A letter written by a current or former professor on university letterhead with an original stamp. It is advised to ask a professor who knows the student well to write it, to be personal and to show that he knows the student is applying to Politecnico di Milano
  • CV:
    • Should be maximum 2 pages long
    • Must contain a written description of work experience, educational background and skills

Additional documents required

  • University Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution and Official Transcripts
  • Detailed descriptions explaining the contents and the basic topics covering in each course taken. It also must contain the number of hours of the courses or training activities completed according to academic curriculum
  • English Language Proficiency scores
  • Portfolio: only for applicants to Architecture, Urban Planning and Policy Design or any Design programmes
  • GRE: only for applicants to Energy Engineering (only Piacenza Campus)
