Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) held a national level entrance test called IRMA 2017 or IRMA Issues of Social Concern, for admissions to Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) batch of 2017-19. The last result for IRMA Issues of Social Concern (IRMA ISC) has been pronounced on March 31, 2017. IRMA had declared the admission notice for the PGDRM 2017-19 on September 5, 2016. IRMA 2017 exam was conducted on February 12, 2017. The experts had released the download strategy of IRMA Admit Card from February 3, 2017 onwards. The total number of seats available for PRM 2017-19 session is 180. The IRMA application procedure was available from October 1, 2016 in online modes.
In the first stage, IRMA utilizes CAT/XAT scores for shortlisting applicants for admission to Post Graduate Diploma for PRM and FPRM courses. The shortlisted applicants are then called for IRMA written test regarding the matter of "Issues of Social Concern". Applicants need to answer 40 questions on "Issues of Social Concern" with in80 minutes. This test is usually scheduled in the time of February. For 2017 admissions, the applicants must get ready for the exam, accordingly.
Eligibility criteria for PRM Course
The applicants graduated from any discipline, with at least 15 years (10+2+3) of Education and having 50% marks (OR 45% if the applicant belongs to SC/ST/DAP/Differently abled individual) in each studies are good enoughto apply for the program. The total percentage of total marks is calculated by the strategy practiced by the college. If the college where the applicant studied doesn't have such a system for changing the CGPA into equivalent marks, then IRMA's pattern must be followed i.e. separating the obtained CGPA with maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100.
Eligibility Criteria FRM Course
To become eligible in FFRM 2017, the candidate must fulfil one of the following conditions-
PGDRM from IRMA (if Not)
PGDRDM from IRMA with at least one year post-diploma work experience (If not)
Applicants with Post Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with 55% marks at Post Graduation and 50% marks at graduation (college) level (OR) Five-year professional degree in Medicine, veterinary science and architecture from a recognized college and with a minimum one year experience (OR) Four –year professional degree in engineering and Agricultural science with 60% marks with no less than three years of work experience are qualified to apply for FRM. (If not)
Applicants having a valid score of UGC JRF in the important disciplines in streams, for example, Management, economics, social work, Sociology, Psychology and commerce.
(5% relaxation is allocated for applicants belongs to SC/ST/OBC/Differently Abled Person)
