The Cusanuswerk is the scholarship body of the Catholic Church in Germany; its sponsorship scheme functions within the framework of a comprehensive interdisciplinary education programme that aims to encourage discussion about science and belief, society and the Church. Issues of fundamental orientation for scientific, social, professional and personal actions are the main focus of the Cusanuswerk scholarship award programme. This includes an examination of the Christian faith.
This scholarship is open to exceptionally gifted Catholic students.
Criteria: To be eligible, students must: present a minimum of 75% on 6 best 4 U/M courses or equivalent, including required courses for his or her program, have made a significant contribution to his or her school and community, have demonstrated leadership qualities.
Deadline: ongoing Amount: $5,000 - $12,000, renewable Eligibility: Incoming transfers and incoming international transfers with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and 24 or more college level credits which have been earned after high school graduation. Incoming transfer students who display a competitive academic record. Award ranges from $5,000 to $12,000. Students are automatically considered based on receipt of application for admission. Students are eligible for scholarships if they have a 3.0 GPA, transfer in 24 or more college level credits and enroll full-time at Seton Hall University. In order to remain eligible, students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
