The master's degree in chemistry is part of the consecutive degree in chemistry. It builds on the six-semester Bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University of Stuttgart or equivalent B.Sc. programs at other universities. In addition to in-depth training in the core subjects of chemistry, the primary goal is to prepare graduates for active research or a doctorate in chemistry.
There are currently four research profiles to choose from in the Chemistry Master’s program, which reflect the current research focus in which the faculty's scientists are active:
