  • M.Sc. Materials and Production Technology

  • Materials and their processing are the basis of all technical products. Their optimized production, processing as well as their use and recycling will be even more important in the future in order to conserve global raw material resources and to achieve environmental and energy policy goals and specifications. In order to fulfill these tasks, specially trained engineers are required who have both a material science background and a sound engineering training, especially in the field of production technology.

  • What interests and skills should I have?

    Admission is granted after completing a bachelor's degree of at least six semesters in mechanical engineering, vehicle and engine technology, materials science, aerospace technology, mechatronics, technical cybernetics, technology management or in comparable subjects. An in-depth knowledge of mathematics, materials science and thermodynamics is of great benefit. Special language skills are not required, basic knowledge of English is required.What career prospects does the course open up for me?
