  • The four-semester master study Chemistry programme at the University of Siegen offers in-depth scientific education with specific attention to main research topics in chemistry, such as inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, materials chemistry, and macromolecular chemistry.The program provides the possibility of research and the specialization in different fields, such as Analytical Chemistry, Building Materials Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Macromolecular Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and other modern branches of chemistry.The Chemistry Master program has a duration of two years, divided into 4 semesters. The first three semesters are organized into lectures and lab courses. In the fourth semester students work on an advanced research topic and write their master thesis. The courses are taught in English, however, students have to attend basic German language courses as part of their curriculum.
